Meatheadmarty what should i do? The GOS developers are smart too but they haven't responded in a way in which I completely understand what to do.
Backup everything on your phone, and then reinstall GrapheneOS from scratch. That is what I would have done. If that doesn't help, your hardware might be failing, such as the flash storage.
If you are fine with waiting until the next update, you can do as @Aru suggests. The next update will reflash the whole OS image, all updates do, and that might correct the problem. But something is wrong. I don't know exactly what red triangle indicates, but either there are data blocks that are failing to load, or verified boot failed to confirm genuine software is loaded. Either way, I would not trust the system until you are back at the yellow triangle.

Assume it is a compromise, even if it maybe only is early signs of failing hardware. Because if you don't have yellow triangle, you are not booting genuine unmodified GrapheneOS anymore.
