Carlos-Anso Ouff! That animation speed bug convinced me. Developer options are OFF from now on. 🙁

0.5x on all of my Android devices over the years. 1x will take some time getting used to.

0xC0DED0D0 Settings > Accessibility > Colour and motion > Remove animations
This is the stable way to do it. And 'Reduce blur effects' while you're at that place.

0xC0DED0D0 I did change mine to the standard speed because I dont wanna be fingerprinted based on developer options.

But i gotta say the UI feels more buggy using the normal speed. Its also so fucking slow

Novalissoide Thanks for the suggestion, but apparently disabling animations completely could potentially be even worse, as I understand it: https://discuss.grapheneos.org/d/12760-disabling-developer-options-resets-settings-remove-animation

0xC0DED0D0 I enable animations only if other users has some issue related to them, and keep disabling afterwards through the normal UI. Never even once had any issues with the removed animations, nor with removed blur.

Not turning animations off from the Normal settings either? The Developer options are not needed to be enabled.

Quantum yes, but since animations is removable without Dev options enabled at any time, why keep animations? Am I missing something here?
