bucksampson I just installed Fossify Messages and set it as my main sms app, but no matter what I do, I cant get notifications to work. would love some help.
DeletedUser495 bucksampson long tap the app. App info > Notifications. Turn them on, funny app itself didn't ask to do it on first run, they usually do.
bucksampson DeletedUser495 tired that, still doesnt work. even tried giving specific contacts custom notifications and still didnt work.
DeletedUser495 bucksampson did you give the the app required permissions, i.e. SMS? Have you tried outgoing messages to make sure it works correctly?

DeletedUser495 bucksampson if the regular Messaging app has working notifications, I don't know how to help you. Just use that, I suppose.
pulsarhunter I think I'm in the same boat as you. I have installed Fossify messages. Both stock and Fossify messages work fine in Owner profile. In the secondary profile, only stock app notifies me. For Fossify, I need to open the app for the message to show up.
