Hi all, new to the community.
I've skimmed through simmilar questions already posted I could find but wanted to ask something more specific.
When setting up multiple user profiles the most tedious thing is actually configuring system settings to your liking akin to the owner profile, takes some time as well. Haptics, notifications, display, sound, the whole ordeal.
There is no integrated way of copying over owner settings like a config and some mentioned seedvault has been iffy, I can aslo see something of the sort would be at the bottom priority for the dev team if it could be even considered implementig.
As a roundabout way could it be possible to setup one new blank profile (owner or sub-user) and back it up locally to a USB drive, then at each new profile creation restore that backup to set everything up again?
When using the backup option from a sub-user profile does only that profile get backed up or does the whole GOS system get backed up?
Would restoring a backup of that sort mess with any function between that profile and owner profile?
