Secondary profile application issue

Hello,

I'm new to GrapheneOS and even Android in general, coming from iOS.

I wanted to install an app directly from an APK (enb-analytics). Once installed, the app downloads data files. If I install it with the Owner profile, there's no problem, but if I do the same thing with a secondary profile, the installation works fine but it's impossible to download the same data.
It seems that the Android/data directory is used. I imagine that this is a problem with permissions that differ between the two accounts. I looked into specific permissions, but without success...

I'm open to any suggestions, thank you.

Aunisien Maybe check with the app author whether the app works in secondary user profiles?

You might try setting up storage scopes:

Go to settings -> apps -> special app access -> All files access
Select your app from the list
Uncheck the Allow access to manage all files
Select Storage scopes
Turn on the Enable Storage Scopes

I don't know if you have to disable and re-enable the app or not.

If this doesn't work, you might uninstall and then reinstall. When it is installing, it will ask for filesystem permissions. Right below the option to allow that will be the option to enable the storage scopes.

Regarding point 2, when I go to Application List, I see nothing; my applications do not appear.

After downloading, it tries to install a database but does not have access.
