Hello everyone, relatively new to graphene and have an issue I haven't seen a post on (at least for the release I am running). I have a persistent microphone functionality issue I cannot resolve. The issue is 2fold: 1) when on phone calls the microphone starts to cut after a few minutes, then cuts out entirely and eventually the call disconnects; and 2) the microphone does not pick up audio when I try to record voice notes in Molly or the graphene messaging app. I am running grapheneOS 2025090800 on a Pixel 8, with Android 16 & a Verizon physical sim.
I have tried all the solutions I could find on related issues on this forum (and other forums), including changing global microphone permissions, camera permissions, bluetooth permissions, USB-C permissions, trying to connect external microphones/bluetooth headsets; change wifi calling permissions, resetting mobile networks, and doing a fresh graphene install. None resolved either issue. However, it doesn't seem like a physical microphone issue, because I can record audio in the camera app without an issue.
The voice-notes is not an impactful issue for my use, it was just the only other place I could replicate the microphone issue, and it never works, in contrast to in the phone calls where it will usually work for a minute or two before the microphone goes out.
It seemed like the general consensus on earlier releases where people reported similar issues was that it might be a SIM card/Network issue or not-a-graphene issue, but any help or thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
