At the start I apologize for my English.

Over 8h of sleep, the battery decreased from 53% to 33%. I don't have Google services. I have read all the threads here. Could this be a problem related to a specific pixel model? I had google services before and the signal worked fine. Overnight the discharge was a few percent. All time on LTE.

It is a recognized problem related to push notifications without Google play Services, with telegram FOSS something similar happens. Right now I think the only solution is to install Sandboxes Google play services and let it take care of the notifications.

I use Signal without Play Services as well, and I've never experienced that much battery loss overnight. I see about 4% battery loss overnight, while running Signal, K-9 Mail, DAVx⁵, and Syncthing.

I suspect your issue has more to do with other services running, or your cellular signal. I have read here that 5G is known to cause higher power consumption, and it is sometimes recommended to try setting your network preference to LTE Only.

I have a 3G/LTE-only carrier, so I can't comment on the 5G performance myself.

My only suggestions would be try disabling 5G, ensure that your phone is stored in a location where reception is strong, and disable Bluetooth and GPS when not in use.

Edit: Ignore my comment about 5G, I somehow missed that you're using LTE already.

I have 3G/4G set up. I can't give only 4G because my carrier doesn't support Volte. I guess I will have to install Google services as ifman writes and then singal.

Hello!

In my experience 1.5% - 2% per hour drain is to be expected with pixel phones.

For example, here's some battery stats from my phone.
Running since 24h. Running Signal and K9 in the background via websocket. No google services installed. Bluetooth is off, phone is connected via WiFi and 4G network. Just some light web browsing, screen-on time is about 1h. The phone still has 61% of battery capacity. Makes a drain between 1% and 2% per hour.

Battery stats

1.5-2% with LTE or wifi enabled?
Your stats mostly on wifi? Which pixel?

WiFi and LTE enabled at the same time. Pixel 7.
