MineralWater investing in this non productive insult almost twice as much words as in the "very productive" contribution that it doesn't work in your case either
MineralWater Seriously, this passive aggressive style of communication hinders productivity, because people will avoid talking to you or give support in other questions
I'm sorry, but you're tripping. This forum is known for fairly knowledgable members, so when someone claims shit like:
MineralWater That's nonsense. Modern phones already have all kinds of battery security installed, plus the safety hardware in the batteries themselves.
rest assured, there will be someone who doesn't take that lightly. If you can not back up these claims with evidence (which you very well might do and I will honor it), I will believe the general consensus and the science behind Li-Ion battery tech.
Adding something like
MineralWater we as customers should not follow the propaganda that charging behavior causes early battery degradation.
to the mix, makes you sound like a wild conspiracy theorist, when everything you just said can be disproved by a quick Google search, pointing at dozens or hundreds of scientific papers that clearly state that you just made that up.
And lastly:
I had a 6 year old iPhone i almost daily charged to 100% (not from zero to hundred) and it worked just fine.
It would be great not to resort to anecdotal evidence. "Working fine" is not a clear definition. For some people "working fine" is going to be 50% of the original capacity. And some people barely have any standards at all. I can tell you from a chemistry perspective: it is/was NOT fine. It had most likely over 1000 cycles to it, which is EOL for any Li-Ion battery.
