Notification cooldown will not turn off

A couple weeks ago I got a Pixel 9 and immediately installed GOS on it. I'm coming from a Pixel 5 with GOS, so I never had the notification cooldown feature before. Notification cooldown is disabled in the settings, but notifications are behaving like it is still enabled. I am only receiving the notification sound for the first notification after I clear the notifications. Order of symptom: I clear the notifications. First notification comes through with vibration and sound. Subsequent notifications will be silent and I only notice them because it pops up on my watch. Is there anyway to permanently disable the notification cooldown feature?

Did you try turning it off in Settings -> Notifications -> Notification cooldown?

Im having the exact same problem. Ive been using GOS for a long time on Pixel 9 ProXL and this issue only started recently. Its highly frustrating.

thmf Yes sure did. It turns off and on no worries, however only the first notification makes any sound regardless of the setting. Until i clear it.
