As you all know, even enabling airplane mode doesn't completely disable the radio module—the phone still responds to cell tower signals. The same issue likely occurs with WiFi. Is there a way to completely disable the radio using hardware?
I understand that interfering with the chip is practically impossible. Is it then possible to interfere with the amplifiers on the board? Disabling them and shielding the chip itself. This is likely the only option, but the question is, are the radio signal amplifiers in the Pixel 9 soldered separately to the board? Is there any way to control this?
Any suggestions are welcome.
