What I dont get from more posts on this site regarding install on older devices are responses like: Why would you do that? Instead of: Its possible if you...
I mean does it really matter why I would like to run old versions of ROMs on old devices?
But just to satisfy people who might disagree, I own a bunch of old devices, in this case also a Samsung S4 (with which GOS used to be compatible) and I think it could be nice to test a tiny bit of what GOS is all about - get a rough feeling of whether to consider buying a pixel to run GOS on.
And Im not too stupid - of course it will be nothing like the current version - but if Im silly enough to give it my time and a try, then why not?
My question therefore: Does older builds exist somewhere for the S4 for me to download and to test?
Or why is it that @Dan-cer so definite states that it will not work - current versions of course, but why would older GOS-versions - if available - fail to install on the S4?
