Well, I am an ex-iOS user like you. GOS is terrific!
I use Proton's suite of products and do not miss the Apple ecosystem at all.
My iPhone battery would never last through the day. My Pixel 6a and 8 battery need a charge every three days due to GOS not constantly communicating and leaking my data to servers all hours of the day and night without my knowledge.
GOS battery lasts much longer since when the phoone is inactive, it is truly inactive. What a concept! Thanks GOS!
