de0u I am sorry for asking this question here, I think it should have its own thread as it is not strictly related to the 2025091900 update (upgrade went fine on my Pixel Tablet, but I missed posting here).
When you talk about the A/B update system you are referring to the slots where GrapheneOS is installed. Do those slots work in the same way they do in, let us say, Junos OS, Cisco IOS and other high-end devices firmware? (i.e., each time an update is downloaded, a full image is flashed to one slot than becomes the active one on the next boot, keeping a copy of the previous release in a —now inactive— slot), or are these upgrades incremental ones? For the latter, I suppose these upgrades are applied concurrently to both slots, to avoid they became out of sync. Do these slots provide some sort of Junos-style resilient dual-root partitioning scheme that helps recovering a slot from the other one if corruption is detected on boot?
Just want to learn a bit more about GrapheneOS.
