Wifi Unstable since Android 16

For the past 2 -3 months my WiFi has been unstable (probably since the update just before Android 16). If i unlock my phone or switch between my profile it is unstable . it turns of automatically or fluctuate between ON and OFF . It would take 5 -10 minutes to get it to stable and mobile would overheat while this happens.

note: I use Proton vpn in those secondary profile. I just thought to mention it.

Have you tried resetting the network settings?

JustBeginnez Will these lose all your saved networks and other settings on WiFi? What settings are cleared that I should be prepared to change back from default?

after the 2025091900 release its been stable for around 12 hours. I will update on this tomorrow.

OneKTN816 My WiFi is hit-and-miss on 16 Build 2025091900. I've had Bluetooth issues before but not WiFi. It will suddenly drop WiFi, it will show disabled and when I enable it no networks will show and it will not connect.
After 1-5 reboots or power-cycles it will work and I'll be using the phone and suddenly see I'm burning through my data plan on 5G while at home or work, where I should be on WiFi.

Reset Wi-Fi and Bluetooth settings.
These settings will be cleared, so you will need to reconfigure them.

JustBeginnez Well I did that and it immediately came back up, and then Bluetooth crashed. I was able to connect to my wireless network however I had to put the WPA key in again.

After a reboot same problem, although with an immediate Bluetooth crash. Any other ideas?

Sorry i forgot to update. The issue is still there but not like before. It will not act up every time i switch profiles but every now and then
