So to enable the bootloader unlock toggle, I need to connect to the internet so pixel can confirm that my pixel is allowed to unlock bootloader (which i know it is) but my question is this
I normally use a vpn 100% of the time for extra privacy and obviously on a new device in this case I can't. So does it matter if I use my personal ip address to allow pixel to connect to Google to confirm or should I go to a public WiFi for this initial step?
Like will that initial ip contact with Google follow me around and be forever connected to the device thereby really allowing my identity due to ip to be known forever or does things reset once graphene loaded
I guess I mean that does it really matter if it's my personal ip as once graphene is loaded, it would be different os obviously so it probably wouldn't contact Google again or if it contacts Google or play store again it will then be under a vpn ip then so initial contact verify ip doesn't really matter?
Appreciate your knowledge
