User100100 I recommend a cable from a known brand that has a speed rating and a power rating. In theory the power rating is irrelevant, but in practice cables with both tend to be better. Brands I would trust include Cable Matters, Belkin, Anker, Best Buy ... and Apple. Apple cables are not cheap, but they value trust in their brand. I guess I would also trust a cable from Dell, for that matter. Again, with a reasonable speed rating.
No-name cheap cables can work, but why not use a good one?
