I've had the Pixel Fold OG for almost a year now, and for me it's been an incredible experience, but you need to be aware of its disadvantages. It's very heavy, it doesn't have a desktop mode, and it's more fragile than a normal smartphone.
In my experience, it has suffered about five drops from pocket height and only has a few marks on the edges, which isn't bad considering I don't use any kind of protection.
People criticize its camera, but I think it's good, even the telephoto lens at night surprises with its results.
The Pixel 9 Pro Fold is much thinner, lighter, and opens completely, so the central strip is less noticeable, but I like its form factor less than that of the Pixel Fold OG.
I think both prices are good. I recommend you try it. In my case, I was very afraid, and I couldn't be happier.
