Maximum battery charge at 80% failed

Hello, since the last release (yestzrday) the option to protect the battery with max of charging at 80% doesn't work.
I've got a pixel 7 and build number 2025090600.

Is someone aware about that ?
Where can I report this "bug" ?

Probably my bad, I've read again the hint associated to this option and I read that the battery I'll charge every 2 weeks at it's max even if the option is activated in order to manage correctly the indication of charge. So I will check the next charge !

For me it works Pixel 6. Recalibrating dosn' t run automatic.

It's charged to 100% for me but then it hadn't in the last few months so a recalibration was likely sorely needed.

The only funky thing is that it kept saying that it was done charging all the way from 80 to 100

Hello, I confirm I've got an issue on my pixel 7 (up to date) : the 80% limitation is not takken into account.

Where can we officially raise an issue ?

Same issue with a Pixel 8 pro.

Used to work, disabled it to let it reach 100 and recalibrate, doesn't work now.

I don't know if it's related to what I did or the last update (2025090600).

Same issue here, directly after update no longer stops at 80%, always charges back up to 100%. Was charging with the charging optimization turned ON while updating to the update that broke it. If I recall the battery wasn't at 80% during update but not sure. Pixel 8 pro.

On my 6a it hasn't gone up to 100% for a long time. Now after the system update it charged to 100% and while on the charger it went back to 80% where it is now.
So to me it seems to work again after quite a long time NOT working.

I have the same problem. Since the last update, my Pixel 7a no longer limits charging to 80%. Now it always charges to 100%.

I would be great if people stuck to the original thread...

And not having 15 different people making github issues, just to close them because they still don't understand how the calibration works or just saying it's fixed for them.

Sorry if I missed something but I newer said that now it's ok.

I confirm since the last update the 80% limitation is broken.
I saw that the issue is already raised, so I will follow this issue.

However if you have a workaround "acceptable" please share it to me/all.

yes I follow this discussion also and feedback are not convincing me.

Plug, unplug, reboot twice and so one just for working 1 time is not what call acceptable workaround.
(Sorry if I don't understand well I'm not English)

My battery is well calibrated, I reboot each morning and the issue is still there.

Anyway I will follow the issue and the associated fixe.

Marko I'm not doing the "fix" they're talking about. I'll just unplug my phone at 80% and let it calibrate around once a week.
