Delay when pressing Home or Recents buttons (Pixel 8, GrapheneOS)

Hi everyone,

I’m running GrapheneOS on a Pixel 8 and I’m experiencing an issue with 3-button navigation. From time to time, when I press the Home button (circle) or the Recents button (square), nothing happens for several seconds. I can press the buttons multiple times, but only after a delay do all the actions suddenly execute in sequence.

I first noticed this while using the Microsoft Launcher, but I’ve tested it with Nova Launcher and Lawnchair as well, and the same issue occurs.

Has anyone else experienced this? Is there a known fix or a setting I might have overlooked?
I’ve already tried adjusting the animation scale settings in Developer Options (including disabling and setting them to 0.5x), but the issue still persists.

How about you test it with the stock launcher?

n3t_admin I've done some testing with the stock launcher and haven't encountered this issue.
But I haven't been able to do any extensive testing, as I haven't configured anything on the stock launcher (desktop/widgets, etc.), so I've used it very little.
For alternative launchers, I may not have any issues for several hours, then the problem reappears.
