Sometime in the last 24 hours, my previously working Microsoft apps have started blocking access to my work accounts due to an Intune App Protection Policy which requires passing basic integrity.
Until now I've never had a problem with it, but since this morning when I open Outlook I am prompted every time to recheck the device meets policy requirements, which takes a long time and I see several notifications about Company Portal using the Play Integrity API (normally there would only be one). After a while it fails and the error screen shows a red exclamation next to the "Device is Healthy" requirement. Tapping "Continue" goes to a screen headed "App access is blocked", with additional text stating that my "organisation requires confirming the device passes Google Play's device integrity check. We are unable to verify this".
OS and google play services are up to date. I have tried removing/re-adding the account, clearing app data, reinstalling the apps, rebooting. Nothing has worked so far, which leads me to suspect that either Microsoft or Google have changed something under the hood....
So, not asking for any help additional debugging - just wanted to ask:
- Has anyone else been experiencing the same problem?
- Have there been any changes to the Play integrity code by Google or the GrapheneOS team in the last couple of days?
