WhatsApp not working

Hi.

I downloaded WhatsApp from the Google Play Store but after a day my WhatsApp got disabled and I asked them to reactivate it and they did however now the app says it's blocked from the device because the device is not certified and can't run on it anymore so I downloaded the apk from the website and still same issue

Says the app can't run on the phone because it's not official.

I'm using a Pixel 9 Pro XL

So Whatsapp doesn't work on GrapheneOS?

Perhaps ask them again. I mean their site says: 'Minimum Requirements

(Version 2.23.12.75)
Android OS 5.0 or above
Unlimited internet data plan recommended'

What happens if you temporarily give Google play services all the permissions to install and set up whatsapp and revoke them afterwards?

My second idea is, that it could be related to the play integrity API bug and should be fixed in the next 24 hours or so with an OTA update.
