Battery Optimisation on GrapheneOS

With my old phone on stock Android I could turn on this feature that would charge the phone at regular speed and then once it reached 80% it would charge slower to reduce battery strain. It would 'learn' your charging patterns for it to work (I think it was called something like battery optimisation. Its different than the 80% charge limit feature). Is this feature going to be available on GOS in the future? I used it when charging my phone at night, and it is one thing I miss.

Also, does anyone leave their phone charging all night and is it bad for the battery to be plugged in all night once its fully charged?

nandohyphen1 So far Google has not released "learning"-based charging into AOSP, and I don't expect the GrapheneOS team to take that on soon.

There is a setting that caps charging at 80%, which is much less fancy but works reasonably well.

Yes I did see that. Its not a huge deal to lose that feature, but it is definitely something I do miss from stock. I don't miss it enough to go back to stock though! :)
