Hello,
I’ve encountered an issue: after every reboot, USB debugging (and sometimes Wi-Fi debugging) is automatically enabled, even if the Developer Options section was fully disabled before the reboot.
Steps to reproduce:
Disable debugging (USB and Wi-Fi) in Developer Options.
Reboot the device.
Open Developer Options again.
Actual result: the toggles for “USB debugging” and sometimes “Wi-Fi debugging” are enabled again.
Expected behavior: debugging should remain disabled after reboot if the user turned it off.
I only used Wi-Fi debugging to enable VoLTE (using Shizuku and Pixel IMS).
It seems this issue has existed for quite a while. Previously, I thought it was my own oversight, but now I can confirm it happens consistently.
Device: Google Pixel 7a
GrapheneOS version: 2025081400
Upd: After disabling Shizuku, the problem disappeared. I’m not sure if this is expected behavior, but in my opinion the OS should not allow third-party apps to automatically re-enable debugging.
