KO007 My thoughts were hardware also. But this was new in box like the other one. What are the chances of that happening?
If we start off assuming the probability of any single 9a being bad is "small" (less than 1%), it would be weird if you bought two from different stores and two were bad. It would be still weird, but less weird, if you bought two from the same store and they were both bad -- less if they had come from the same factory on the same day.
But one out of two being bad is statistically essentially the same as one out of one being bad, or one out of three, or one out of four -- again, if the base probability is low, which I think it is.
Keep in mind that if you installed the same software on both of them and one crashes a lot more it would not clearly be sensible to start off by suspecting the software.
KO007 Is there somewhere we can send the logs to be diagnosed?
You can post some crash dumps here, but it probably wouldn't add much. The key fact is that the one 9a is crashing like mad right after installation, which basically no other 9a's do (not your other one, but also not 100,000 other ones). Log analysis might support suspicion of some particular part of the hardware, but it's not clear how that would help.
