Feature Request: Two-Step Confirmation for Disabling Airplane Mode

Problem

I keep my device in Airplane Mode to prevent cellular tracking, especially in areas where surveillance is a concern.
I'm worried about accidentally turning off airplane mode when I'm using the quick settings panel.
This can happen in two ways:

Tapping the Turn off airplane mode button that appears when you tap Internet tile.
Tapping the Airplane Mode tile itself. (This can be removed)
In a high-surveillance environment, an accidental action like this can have serious consequences.

Possible solution

Please add a two-step confirmation process to disable Airplane Mode.
A good solution would be to require a password or a fingerprint authentication before Airplane Mode is turned off.
This would ensure that it's a deliberate action, not an accidental tap.

Idea:
You can entirely disable your sim card via

Settings -> Network and Internet -> SIMs

If you disable your SIM when you are in such an area, no airplane mode can turn this back on.

Though, cellular traffic works without SIM cards too, for emergency calls and such, and the phone itself has unique identifiers such as the IMEI, so exiting airplane mode at all can be risky, as you will still ping off to the cellular network exactly where you currently are.

Another way of doing things could be removing Airplane mode quick toggle and handling things through Settings.

I hate the combined Internet quick settings tile. It has a larger tap zone that does something unintended (accidentally disabling airplane mode) than the one that does the intended thing (toggling Wi-Fi). You have to be careful every single time it is used, even under stress etc. Terrible AOSP UI, at least for the niche of users that strongly prefers Wi-Fi to the cell network.

This actually happened to be the other day on my secondary Pixel device and was very annoyed by it. I've never disabled Airplane Mode on that device until then. If anything, it should require confirmation in that specific instance, or the button be removed entirely.

Assuming that it is technically possible, requiring a password or fingerprint authentication before disabling Airplane mode seems too inconvenient to me.

If we want something that prevents Airplane mode from being enabled/disabled with a simple touch of a finger in the quick settings panel, I would rather see behavior identical or similar to Bluetooth, assuming that is still possible, but perhaps that is not the case.

My suggestions would be to:

Add a simple "Yes" or "No" confirmation dialogue.
Somehow reduce the size of the Turn off airplane mode button

However, I don't know how difficult this would be to implement and maintain given there are more than enough higher-priority issues still being addressed.

I just had to remove it from the Quick Settings tiles. It was too easy to activate when I had it next to the Internet tile.

Instead of having a pin/password for each feature individually, why not develop a common space in GrapheneOS settings that can be used to defining where we can optionally set authentication
