Ykelok Try going to "Sandboxed Google Play" from the settings and disable "Reroute location to the OS".
Click on the setting just below which is "Google Location Accuracy" and enable "Improve location accuracy".
Now, Google Play Services needs the "Network" and "Location" permissions. For the "Location" permission of Google Play Services, enable "Use precise location".
If you don't know where to find them just go to Settings > All apps and search for Google Play Services.
At least, that’s how I do it. If I skip even one of these steps, location doesn’t work for me in Maps. Google play services tells me to enable "Always on Wi-Fi scanning", but I’ve never actually needed that.
If it still doesn’t work, you could try enabling Wi-Fi and Bluetooth scanning and other settings that make it easier to determine your location.
If I remember correctly, Google Play Services will also give you additional suggestions if it still doesn’t work.
If you don’t use Google Play Services, I don’t know how to make Maps work or if it’s even possible in the first place (for maps, not talking about apps like organic maps and osmand).
