sluggish feedback when writing or zooming

Very shortly after installing and customizing grapheneOs for the first time i noticed a delay of some milliseconds when typing text (for example when writing an SMS), which is quite annoying. Also the two-finger-zoom in the browser or the picture gallery is sluggish or does not work at all.
I established a second profile for a sandboxed google maps and in this profile everything runs flawlessly.
Any idea what could be the reason? Are there any settings, which I could have changed unintentionally?

Do you have any accessibility services running? Some accessibility services require receiving massive amounts of data about what's happening on the screen, and this can hinder performance.

I don´t think this is the reason, because the delay only happens while typing and zooming. Everything else performs perfectly.

Typing is always sluggish, that is the main problem.

Two-finger-zooming in the gallery or on websites sometimes does not work. If it works, there is no delay. One-finger-dragging on websites (for example maps) always works.
And as I said, on the other profil everything works fine.

I never established any accessibility services deliberately, I don´t even know what this is. How could i check out if anything like it is running?

They're in the Settings under Accessibility, if there are any.

But as I have a german OS, I am not sure if I looked in the right place. But as I said, I don´t believe thats the reason.

Just had another idea: can I save my settings to a file? This way I could try to import the settings from my other profile and see if it works. If not, I would like to switch back.

I dug deeper into the settings and identified the screen magnifier (don't know the exact word in the english OS version) as the reason, which I had set to triple click. There is a hint, that this can slow down the device, but I assumed it only happens when using the magnifier, not all the time.

brt Interesting! I was able to replicate the sluggish typing (among other things) by enabling the triple tap shortcut. The reason is that with this shortcut on, for every tap you do the system has to wait to see if two more taps will follow, and if that's the case activate the magnifier feature instead of e.g. showing the letter of the key you tapped on the screen.

I set up the other shortcut (pressing both volume buttons) as the delay is annoying to me. If the delay time between the three clicks were adjustable I would choose this option but the volume buttons shortcut is also fine.
