Lucario1829 I think we hoped for the PWM option because the p10 was the first pixel with that option on stock. But if it's not in AOSP, it won't be in GOS

Hello, I have tried installing it on my Pixel 10 Pro. I have been following the steps. Everything ok until I clicked on "Flash Release", it restarted, and now a battery icon on in the middle of the phone appears. I have tried pressing power and volume buttons, but no response. Can you help me?
UPDATE: it restarted after pressing the power button for almost a minute and it booted normally.

Congrats GrapheneOS team. I'm running the experimental build right now, stayed up until 1 AM to get it installed.

I've been meaning to get back to GrapheneOS after I bought a Pixel 10 Pro back in August, but at the time (because of the QPR1 delays) the future seemed iffy, I didn't know if Graphene would survive so I used the stock ROM. At one time I almost wished I switched to iPhone and bought a 17 Pro instead.

This is analogous to when CyanogenMod died, I ran a Sprint Galaxy S5 so I switched to a TouchWiz-based ROM until Lineage became stable. Except that it's Google's fault this time instead of the ROM's.

I'll miss Google Wallet, but I have a spare OnePlus 13R which can be my "Google Wallet" device. Maybe trade my 13R for a Pixel Watch, but then I don't do watches, and the P10Pro lacks a SIM card slot so the 13R is useful for when/if I can't do eSIM.

Now that Pixel 10 devices are supported, the GrapheneOS team has previously posted that they intend to support Pixel 10 until the end of it's software update life -- the same as all of the other devices that they support.

The only thing that would disrupt this would be if Google kills AOSP. Google has said they will not do this, but they also have killed many many projects over the years. No one can predict the future.

sanofknas2 Would really like to know that too! I did not find any information whether this setting was delivered within the QPR1 source code. This feature really saves my eyes, so I really hope it has made its way into AOSP or that it could maybe added to GrapheneOS soon.

gflixos I saw one user saying on Discord that they will submit a PR for adding that toggle for increasing the PWM in the following days, so the feature should be added soon. I don't know if that user is on the forum but it's very kind of them to work on it for people like us who have problems with OLED displays, thanks.

Hi,
After installing GOS on my P10 pro i have 11 gb of temp system files in storage.
I also have 11 gb of Android system files.
Normaly its around 2-3 gb of temp files.

Does anyone else have this? Should i reinstall GOS?
I have tried to factory reset but it does not go down.

SirMixAlot I also have 11GB of Android sytem files and 19GB of temp system files.

I have now transferred all my apps and data from my old P4a and everything seems to work smoothly. Only two small hickups that are probably more related to buggy apps than to GrapheneOS:

The "Flip DND" app (to turn on do not disturb when the phone is put screen downward on a table) doesn't seem to work anymore. Which is sad, because GrapheneOS doesn't privide this function which is native to stock android.
The Private Lock app (that locks the screen when sudden movement is detected, e.g. when someone snatches the phone from your hands) locks the screen to the primary passphrase and not, as I hoped, to the secondary fingerprint+pin. Again, stock Android provides this as "theft security" but GrapheneOS doesn't, so without this app there's no solution.

I intend to submit a PR for implementing this in the next couple of days once I've had the time to build the latest experimental release for my device. adevtool already pulls in all the system components from the stock OS needed for this to work. The only missing thing is an option in the settings to enable it.

chenxiaolong Hearing this, I installed GOS yesterday. Looking forward to setting it to 480Hz PWM again when your PR got merged.

Even though it is an experimental version, it works very well! My Pixel is running way cooler now and everything works fine. Just experiencing some random crashes and reboots from time to time, which I can live with until a stable release becomes available. Thank you GOS Team!!

Installed via CLI (Alpine Linux) w/o issue. Was not able to attest via Auditor w/ P8 as auditor. Will continue to set it up as see how things go, perhaps drop by a local ATT shop to get the eSim working tomorrow.
