Edit: You probably meant the supported devices list in the FAQ page, rather than the devices section in the releases page. Well. Whatever
Edit 2: And I don't think the script would add new devices to the page. It seems to only update the releases for the existing devices.

Our port to Android 16 QPR1 which was to AOSP on November 11 is currently being tested internally. Several important regressions have been discovered and we're working on resolving those before we release it for public testing. A few minor features also still need to be ported.

Being new to the Pixel phone world (I've always used other phone brands, and never kept up with the Pixel models) how often does Google release a new Pixel model? Is it roughly every year? My plan is to start shopping for a new phone next year (Black Friday) to replace my 6a. I'd probably get a Pixel 10 or 11 (if the 11 is out by then, and if its supported by GrapheneOS! :) ).

Annually. Pixel 11 (or 10a if you want budget) will likely be the current phones, though whether Graphene will be able to support it at that time is a little bit up in the air. Google only just about a week ago released the updates that will allow the Pixel 10 to be supported, despite being due months ago.

Yeah, sometimes Google is a real pain (did I say sometimes? I meant always). I'm happy that the 10 will be supported at least, so when I make my decision, I could at least choose the 10 in a year

Just to be sure for myself, I would like to drop a question:

...and concludes:
"While no hard date was provided, this sequence strongly suggests that Pixel 10 support will land sometime after the March 2026 security patch cycle is incorporated, likely arriving in late Q1 or early Q2 2026."

For what I meant to understood so far, this is incorrect, right? According to this whole thread (and some other stuff) I assumed, that GOS implements the security preview releases, which are dated somehow in the future through Google's weird new release process.

Subsequently I would guess, that GOS talks more about this year's December than March or April next year regarding the Pixel 10 support.

Now my question: Did I misunderstand everything or did the article's author? :-)

Lauchtelefon Probably if you read something on the GrapheneOS discussion forum, and it isn't corrected by a developer or a forum moderator or a knowledgeable member, and you read something contradictory in the press, what you read here is more likely to be accurate.

This is true, but there is no reason to believe they get access to a March 2026 patch in 2025. Likely a March patch wouldn't be accessible before February.

That being said, the article doesn't cite a source for the March 2026 patch being required before Pixel 10 support, so unless someone has a 1st party source for that line, I'd take it with a grain of salt.

I am curious though, can we get any word on if we're likely to see P10 support in the next 30 days? I ordered a P9 from Amazon, which is supposed to be delivered tomorrow, but just saw that for $100 more, I can get a P10 Pro as part of Google's black Friday sale starting on the 20th.

If we're likely to see P10 support within a month, I think I'll return the P9 and go with the P10 Pro and just use my current phone until the 10 is supported. But if it's going to be more than a month, i don't know if I want to wait.

Lots of people can speculate, and many do.

If the project wishes to make an announcement, they will do so. But it's not clear why they would want to. If, hypothetically, they are 93% sure that they can release P10 support in two weeks, and they announce that, and things end up in the 7% case instead, people would complain bitterly. It's even possible that if they expressed confidence about two weeks and it were completed in five days that some people would complain.
