I have the P8P. Wife has the P10P. Would like to upgrade to the P10P for the smaller size. That said, I don't see Google behaving well in the future. This P8P may be my last of their phones. I can hold on for another year or three, as long as I don't drop it too roughly. As it is, I also have to carry a Pixel 5 with Android 14 so I can have glitch free TTS over bluetooth.

Motorola might be a bet, I would have said nokia if It wasn't been bought from HMD..

Unfortunately. Even if you flip over an iPhone and look on the back it says, 'Designed in California Made in China'. Or at least it did last time I looked at one (its been a fair bit since I have).

I’m currently an iPhone user for a while, but looking to switch to GrapheneOS from iPhone 13 PM. Stuck between waiting for the Pixel 10’s to get a GOS build or perhaps just get either a 9 or a 9 Pro.
Is it worth getting a 9A at all or just go with a 9/9 Pro? Seems like the only difference between the 9/9 Pro is the higher quality screen 🤷🏻‍♂️

I'm using a 9a. Sold my 9 cause for me it don't make any sense to use a 9 or 9Pro.

Miles better battery, got it new for 350€, plastic back is more durable then glass....

I assume that the 9a would get better battery life since it has a bigger battery size, but then again I’ve read that because it uses an older modem, it has issues, as well as less battery efficiency.
The Satellite SOS feature on the 9/9 Pro is definitely a plus.

Nightingale93 I found the 9a to have slightly better battery life under GOS, but overall the battery life is not impressive. I didn't know about the modem. Maybe that explains it...

Finally Android 16 QPR1 has been released which Google had since the 3rd week in August. Here we are in the 2nd week of November. Maybe it's me but 10 wks is more than a few week. Regardless, it's out and the GOS team now has access and what they need to move forward toward a stable release for the Pixel 10. Thanks again to the GOS team for all the hard work they do which we all benefit from!

Finally! I couldn't bear stock os anymore. Looking forward to see GOS release soon! (Provided the team can do It, please no pressure)

Just in time, hopefully, for Black Friday Sales. We will see. I always planned to skip the P9 series (before any issue with the 10 and Google's changes was known). Plan was from the 8Pro straight to P10. Only way I would have gone P9 is if the P10 could not use GOS. I just hope Google does not close things off by before the new Pixel tablet release in `27. Can't hurt to hope.
