KDE Connect problems

Is it just me or does KDE Connect suck? It is super cool and I like it (when it actually works), but I'm having problems with it. I read some posts on the forum but couldn't find anything exactly like this.

So I'm using KDE Connect on my P6a and on my laptop running Arch Linux. Here's what happens. Sometimes on my phone it says its connected but on my laptop it says its not (and vice versa). Other times, its connected but nothing works (has all permissions set to allowed). If I open KDE SMS, it just shows a blank screen. Or if I try remote input from my phone, it doesn't do anything. If I revoke all permissions for the app, disable it, re enable it, and give all the permissions back, it works for like five minutes. Then the above happens all over again. :( Is it always this glitchy? Or is something wrong? At this point, I may as well just delete it and not use it, as its more trouble than it is useful. :p Thanks

As opposed to what?

I think it's an open-source project on which many people have spent a lot of time. It might be more productive overall to try to improve the project than to badmouth it.

de0u apologies if you took that the wrong way. I just mean its a little glitchy at times. I did not know that it is an open source project. I do respect open source projects and the people behind them, I guess I was just curious if this is a known issue for it to be glitchy or if it is something wrong on my end. I don't want to badmouth KDE Connect in any way, as it is a neat feature, and we are lucky to have such a feature that is FOSS (I looked it up, KDE is open source) instead of some closed source application. Thanks for pointing that out. ;)
