Pixel 8 gets hot

Hi all,

since the update to Android 16 my Pixel 8 runs hot on normal activities like web browsing or using apps as normal.
Of course the battery dies quickly when the device is getting hot.

Does someone has the same issue?
I was thinking about to start from scratch and reset the device.

Any suggestions what to fix befor doing such things?

DiaboloVanpire You can try checking which apps use up the most battery in Settings to see if there are any problematic apps. That or swipe down twice so you see all the quick settings tiles, then at the bottom there may be a circular icon with a number in it telling you how many apps are running in the background. Tap the icon and you can see a list there.

Another possible issue could be you changed something in developer options. You can try disabling developer options if they're enabled to see if that helps.
