Glitch with banking apps SMS authentication

Hi there I am trying to migrate banking apps to another user profile. However they require a SMS code to be set up the issue is every time I go out of the banking app to get the code it resets the app and I need to get another code a doom loop lol. In the owner account you are able to copy codes from the preview message however with the secondary user accounts no preview message appears it just an SMS notification. I have tried turning on and off different settings but can't seem to get secondary profiles to show SMS message previews which would fix my issue does anyone know how to fix this or is there any work around (I don't have access to another device I could pop my sim into receive a code) any help would be greatly appreciated

Is there any reason you would not want to use the Turn on phone calls & SMS option for this specific secondary profile?
You can find this option where you manage secondary profiles in the owner profile.

Thanks for response that setting is switched on. It's in the secondary profile where a notification will come through but there's no ability to copy from a message preview. In the main profile I have this ability I am not sure why it won't show a message preview in my secondary account

Just to be sure: do all the banking apps reset upon switching to the messaging app?

The issue regarding SMS previewing in secondary profiles seems to be an Android limitation:

I thought of using the split screen function, but I guess your banking apps would not offer it.

Did you try the split screen function? I just tried it, and out of three of my banking apps, two allowed the split screen, which would be enough to read the SMS code with the Messaging app besides, I guess.

Depending on the reasons you wanted them in a secondary profile in the first place, don't hesitate to use the Private Space in your Owner profile.

One of my banking apps requires 2fa with text message every time for log in so the split screen is not as seamless as the private space. I just want banking apps hidden away in case of theft tbh so a private space is more than enough on home profile thanks for your help I wouldn't have thought of a private space until I read that link you sent greatly appreciated all set up now
