Pixel 6a not charging after update

After this last update 2025080600 my Pixel 6a does not charge anymore...
I have the owner profile degoogled and a secondary profile with apps that require google....
What raised my attention was:
apply the only change not related to the Pixel 6a battery workaround from the August 2025 Pixel kernel drivers obtained via GPL source request

But the "not" means that the battery changes were not shipped in this release.

Can you provide more details about the phenomena you have observed?

Have you tried multiple chargers? Multiple cables? What is the value of the setting for "USB-C port" in "Security & privacy", "Exploit protection"? If you power the device all the way off and plug it into a charger, what happens?

Can't replicate on my own 6a

Funny story:

I tried to test this just to make sure, and my phone WASNT charging. Once I changed my now soiled pants, I realized the cable was just fucked up.

de0u before opening this thread I tried with 5 different chargers and cables and none was working...
Then after an hour of trying it started to charge...
Did not know what happened... I will look into this in the next days to see if it happens again... This never happened since day one that I have this 6a...

I suggest carefully investigating whether there is junk inside the USB-C port, or asking a repair shop to look.
