Dicio voice assistant errors trying to use Android TTS

Hi everyone. I'm interesting in using Dicio as a voice assistant, and I already have RHVoice installed as a TTS engine. However, whenever I start Dicio, I get an error about the the app being unable to initialize Android's TTS service. I have Dicio set as my assistant app, and RHVoice as my TTS engine, but I assume there's some more configuration that would need to be done before I can properly use Dicio with TTS. Does anyone who uses Dicio know what I need to do to make it work on GrapheneOS? The Dicio GitHub issue about the error is still open after a year, and I can't find any permission settings that seem to affect TTS access.

sdiygt I also discovered Dicio. I'm not much for voice assistants, but it sure is nice to be able to navigate or call by voice in my car. I get the same error message as well. Does it still let you talk? When I launch Dicio and hit the microphone, it also gives the issue about not being able to initialize the Android TTS service, but it disappears right away and let's me talk, so I've never looked into it further. I had to download the speech engine thing in the Dicio app for it to work, but that was like the first thing I did upon launching the app for the first time. But if you didn't yet download it, I believe its in the settings in the app.

nandohyphen1 I have downloaded the voice-to-text engine in Dicio, and I'm able to speak and have it process commands. My main issue is that I can't get any voice output despite having a TTS provider (RHVoice) installed and set as my Android TTS device. I suppose this isn't strictly necessary, but it would be nice to hear feedback on my commands if I'm driving. I'm wondering if there are some weird sandboxing issues with Graphene, or if this is just a problem with Dicio.

sdiygt same thing here. I don't get voice feedback either and I agree it would be nice for when driving. I haven't figured out a way to get it to work. Maybe if someone else did they will chime in.
