How to stop DNS sent to google RDNS WG Proxy??

All in title. If anyone knows how please share. Or what RDNS settings to have DNS resolved via WG proxy?

Onlyfun If you use the Wireguard Proxy in simple mode this is the default behavior. Haven't figured out myself how to do this in advanced mode yet, since I've only set RethinkDNS up earlier today. But for now I really like rDNS.

Byku with this setup i see google/microsoft in dns queries. I noticed that enabling 'never proxy dns' fixes the issue. Now wondering why, does it mean the WG proxy is the troublemaker?

If you want different DNS from that of WG tunnel you need to turn on advanced mode. Then select the DNS you want from the DNS section.

Onlyfun No idea. Maybe it uses these servers to bootstrap? I'm using Mullvad TLS DNS and don't experience this. Might be a good idea to ask rethinkdns dev. They are active on this forum.

Byku setup with issue is mullvad WG adv proxy and mullvad over tls dns.
i switched to simple mode to make sure dns is tight, then switched back to advanced and 'never proxy dns' is off now, dns not leaking. Agree such is best to ask the dev.
I suspect there are other factors involved, as other issue with vpn shows.
