Understandable, but at this point we have no way of knowing what caused the issue in the first place.

I think its because of a update.

Not sure I understand the question, but if I do, I'd think you'd need to save the contacts in the Contacts app, then give WhatsApp access to the contacts using Contact Scopes, or if you prefer give WhatsApp access to all contacts. Sometimes apps like WhatsApp might be confused by the formatting that the numbers are saved in, so you can try using just spaces. Sometimes adding the country code helps. For example +1 123 456 7890 should be okay.
