Cannot re-calibrate fingerorint sensor

Hey guys,

I recently had my screen replaced and am struggling to get the fingerprint sensor running. When I run the pixel repair tool here: https://pixelrepair.withgoogle.com/udfps and put my phone into fastboot mode the installer runs (rather quickly) and says "Install successful."

The issue I am having is that even after restarting my phone I still get the same error message on my phone when trying to use the fingerprint scanner. No matter how many times I've run the software it says it was successful, but doesn;t actually fix the issue. I've tried running it on chrome, brave, and firefox and get the same result no matter what.

Is there something I am missing or do I need to flash back to the stock OS in order to get my fingerprint sensor working?

dab298 Multiple threads contain claims that it is necessary to run the fingerprint calibration twice (presumably in quick succession), and/or to reboot twice, e.g.:

If several recalibrations in a row don't do the job, I would probably suggest taking the device back to whoever replaced the screen. Perhaps the cable wasn't connected.

de0u I will take it back to the place where they replaced the screen. I've tried running the tool back to back several times with no luck.

dab298 I suspect people here will be interested in your findings. Also, perhaps you can run the calibration tool while you're still at the shop?
