Inconsistently spotty phone calls

I work in two different cities and I am having issues with phone calls cutting in and out when not using WiFi calling. The problem. started when I switched to Graphene. When I am in the same house as my girlfriend the calls between us are fine, but as soon as I leave the house everything starts to cut in and out. Even the voicemails I get are spotty.

I have downloaded an eSim (I was using a physical sim card) to see if that helped and I have reset the network options. That might not be the proper term, my brother is the one that reset them.

What else can I try to solve this issue? I run a repair shop so I need to have clear phone calls.

de0u Yes, we both have Mint.

Ichtheria I am not an expert on Mint Mobile, but I think I recall that they were recently bought. If so, it's possible that a new Mint SIM and an old Mint SIM might work differently in some areas. It can be difficult to debug intermittent call-quality issues.

My house is in a poor LTE coverage area. Eventually I paid for an LTE extender that uses my wired Internet as backhaul. Looking around the neighborhood shows multiple LTE extenders from my carrier, so apparently a bunch of my neighbors also paid for extenders.
