I couldn't find it in the AppStore also.

Seems to be a part of the Sandboxed Google stuff.

W1zardK1ng Unsure if it has more uses, but the OS will check AppCompatConfig to see if any apps need to have certain exploit protections disabled or different defaults set in order for them to work if Settings > Security & privacy > More security & privacy > Automatic exploit protection compatibility mode is on.

Edit: Might not even need to show system apps. Just go to apps, show all apps and it'll be at the top

other8026 should we make a report, if we find an app that doesn't work without changing the defaults? Though the problem with that is that certain apps could genuinely be doing something undesirable, and we might not necessarily want AppCompatConfig to automatically allow them.

Example: Air Canada requires DCL via memory, or it crashes on launch.

Ammako No, I don't think the project wants to keep track of all the apps that don't work with exploit protections turned on. Plus, you'd only have that DCL issue if you change the default settings and there's a helpful notification telling you why the app crashes or doesn't work.
