rosie_pl My recordings folder is empty... and when I search for the call recording in the settings it find only the default call redirecting app option that I can select and it's on "none"... wtf?? how to enable this and then review my calls please???
spring-onion It's one of the buttons when you're in a call, you likely need to scroll down. The recordings will be placed in that folder you found earlier.
rosie_pl OMG!! indeed... there is a button for that... how do I make it so it will record it byy default tho??
rosie_pl I found thiss... https://discuss.grapheneos.org/d/5413-call-recorder-automatic-recording-of-calls/73 and this... https://github.com/GrapheneOS/platform_packages_apps_Dialer/pull/48 and I just want to say that there is many countries with ONE PARTY CONSENT ONLY!! why in the world would I compromise myself by telling the other side I'm recording the call...??? its absurd for people who live in countries with one consent to do this... PLEASE DO NOT LET THE OTHER PARTY KNOW... should I copy this to that other thread or can you please combine them somehow so the developers will also see this somehow... this is so crucial... I always had my phone calls recorded by default automatically... it's a must thing to have...
nologo rosie_pl I sincerely hope you will never call me. I do NOT want to be recorded without my consent. I am very glad such a crude privacy intrusion is prohibited by law in my country.
spring-onion I looked at the pull request briefly, that's not how I read it. The concern seems to lie in the user experience side of things rather than wanting to inform the other party. It's your responsibility to comply with your local laws.

rosie_pl well that's fine... besides laws we have different cultures as well dont you think... and that's the whole point!! and let's not go personally here alright... let the users decide what we want!! especially if it's not against LOCAL LAWS!!
