I would say, especially if you have data on there that you would like to keep, to just give it some time. It is either mis-entered or mis-remembered, and giving your brain time to leave and come back to it might be fruitful.
If this isn't the case and you would like to factory reset, you can do that from recovery. To get there, reboot the device and hold volume down immediately after the phone screen turns off. When it displays "Fastboot mode", use the volume buttons to change the selection to "Reboot to recovery", then power button to confirm the choice.
It will reboot to a screen displaying the laying down Android mascot. On that screen, press and hold power, and click volume up once while you hold power. It should now display the Recovery GUI where you can select "Factory reset" and use the power button to confirm.
