Screenshots suddenly slow?

Weird one this. Since the recent upgrade to 16, screenshots are taking much longer to happen.

The first time I press the power & volume up combo, it takes about 4 seconds for the screenshot animation to appear. Subsequent presses are instant.

Anyone else noticed this?

edent I would try clearing system cache in the recovery menu, sometimes phones get wonky after major updates and that seems to fix a lot of the bugs caused by updates.

edent I always do lock button + volume down and it's working fine for me. If you try, is it slow then?

Might sound like a stupid question, but another button combination thing was affected by an upstream change, so I'm wondering if that's playing a role.

Yes, I have noticed this on an old P7 while using a secondary user profile. To verify, I just tried but did not manage to reproduce this, however. My original thought was that it's somehow related to the secondary user profile but now I suppose it's not.

Noticed this as well. Screenshot via shortcut takes ages. Plus, but maybe an Android 16 issue, the shurtcut Power + Volume Up is not doing anything anymore - formerly put the phone in silent mode what I found quite hamdy tbh
