Is there any benefit in keeping off the "eSIM support" toggle if I currently have no eSIM installed or don't use eSIM?

Oggyo In theory, keeping that code disabled reduces attack surface. I don't think it's possible to say how much, though.

Yeah, I'm assuming something security-related but not sure what exactly. Maybe it shuts down the 2nd radio module.

No, it doesn't. eSIMs also work with "eSIM support" toggled off. You have to toggle it on for installing an eSIM or de-/activating it. Not necessary for normal use. And important: If a PIN is active on an eSIM and support is toggled off you must remember the PIN or PUK or you won't be able to enter your phone after a reboot.
