"Message delivers when NAME is online"

Question, I finally got RCS working again. US Mobile said my phone was having issues on Google's servers so keep RCS off for a few days.

I also switched the connectivity checks and provisioning to Google (dont know if that actually did anything though) and cleared cache for Play Services, Messages, whatever and turned on Phone number verification and SMS autofill (dont know if I need that). RCS worked for like a day then (I switched the checks and provisioning back to GOS) whenever I sent a message, it says "Message delivers when NAME is online" then eventually switches to SMS.
To try to fix it, I cleared cache and storage and switched back to Google provisioning, but it's not verifying now.

Has anyone had the "Message delivers when NAME is online" issue?

Similar issue for me, some are being delivered, others never are

I have not, although I've turned on the "auto resend as SMS," at this point just to make sure I never miss a message.
Strange behavior really. The other person can send a message to me, get a read receipt, see me "typing" a reply, but no matter what it's just "sent." Never delivers until it resends as SMS (assuming of course that the send report is accurate). Also no way to know who is going to have an issue...some RCS users work as expected, others do not.
I've let Mint Mobile know about the issue, but honestly idk if this is a Mint problem, Graphene problem, or Google Messages problem.

I did recently switch from Pixel 8 to Pixel 9 Pro, but I'm quite certain that all the changeover steps were followed correctly

Yes i do. I think some of the recipients might have "repaired" themselves, but just as many haven't.
