Hey Community,
I was excited to get GrapheneOS installed on my new Pixel 9a, and did so yesterday. However, I guess the process is supposed to take around 10 minutes... and for me it took around 8 hours.
When it was finished and I excitedly checked it this morning, I went to the app store to download the Google Framework app, but it wasn't available. In fact, there were only about 5 apps available for download.
I am trying the flash release process again... because I guess only having 5 apps is an indicator that GrapheneOS only granted me access to the rudimentary OS (???)
This time around the flash release process seems to be going slightly faster than last time, but still slow. I tried installing via the cmd line but was running into problems there and it's honestly a little beyond me. I got frustrated and reverted back to the WebUSB method.
I'm using the USB-C cable that is brand new and came with the phone. The phone is brand new and unlocked. The first time I did the flash release process I was using Brave, now I'm using Google Chrome.
I hope it works this time and I have full access in the app store. I'm sort of at my wit's end and would appreciate any help.
Thanks!
