Did I just brick a brand new Pixel 6a?

Hi, i tried to falsh GrapheneOS to a new Pixel 6a. Since I do not have any USB-C ports on my laptop I tried a USB-A to USB-C Cable using Chrome and the webinstaller.
This unfortunately did not work and stopped at "Rebooting".
So then I had the idea to use my Pixel 4A5G running GrapheneOS to install it with the original USB-C to USB-C cable. This seemed to work until the point where the new phone was in userspace fastboot and the system file was written. The installer just crashed on my Pixel 4A5G and I tried to start the install again. Same thing happened and I thought all right, just wait until tomorrow when I have access to another PC and the cable I used for my 4A5G.
But not the Pixel 6a is stuck on Boot (white screen with Google logo). Is there a way to get it back to fastboot to do a fresh install or have I just bricked it?

Simply hold the power button until it shuts off, then hold volume down while booting

That unfortunately does not work. I found out you have to press "power"+"volume up" in order to force a reboot. Then hold "volume down" to get to fastboot again. There I was able to power down the phone and just now I powered it back on and was able to install GrapheneOS. But only the command line installer worked for me, the Webinstall could not find any device anymore...
But it works and I can happily enjoy my new phone with the best operating system :)

Is it normal that my Pixel 6A warns me on startup that my device is corrupt and I have to press the power button to boot? That was not the case on my 4a5g. There was only a warning that I am loading a different operating system and I had to press nothing to boot.

The error message with the yellow checkmark is normal, the red one is bad.

It should say that you're running a different OS. If it says your installation is corrupt, it means something is messed up.

How do I fix that? Still the same after a fres install -.-

meiklmue Try removing the GOS signing key, reflashing stock, unlocking the boot loader, and reflashing GOS again with the web installer.

meiklmue your 'fresh' install is not completing the element flashed under fastbootd.

Likely your cable doesn't meet the USB standard. What is your flashing setup?

Laptop/Desktop to Phone?
Phone to Phone?
Stock C-C Cable?
Third Party C-C or A-C cable?
Do you meet the stated requirements for OS/Browser as outlined in the installer instructions? Which combination are you using?

The warning that you're running an unsupported OS cannot be turned off with GrapheneOS. It's basically warning you you're not running the OS that came with the phone. The only way to stop that from showing up is to reinstall stock Android.

Normal message. You can ignore this, or push the power button twice to skip it faster. Everybody with GrapheneOS gets this message when their phone starts up.

bereft_penguin Perfect, that was the way to go.
But as the first time, the webinstaller did not work and I had to use the command line.
Red Corrupt warning is gone and everything works like a charm :)

Setup used:
USB-C to USB-A Cable (Third Party from Iqos e-cigarette)
Linux Manjaro with a fresh Google Chrome install
