Visual changes after the last update.

nandohyphen1 Thank you for your answer. But I mean something else. Some third party app icons have changed size while others have remains the same size.
I also noticed that the control panel looks the same as it looked like in the previous operating system.
I wonder if this is normal.

GrapheneOSuser74 I think the update that was installed should be OK. It was downloaded from your phone I'm assuming and not from a website? Because as long as it was installed and downloaded directly from GrapheneOS on your phone it should be fine. I'll continue to research this problem. :)

The "Verifying installation" part of the installer instructions can be performed any time the system reboots (or even perhaps every time, for high-risk individuals).

From the phone. But while downloading the update, the download was interrupted several times.

I would like to clarify that the frame remains the same size when only the icon changes. It looks a bit ugly. As I mentioned, this may not be the issue of the GrapheneOS operating system at all, but rather to Android AOSP itself.

GrapheneOSuser74 Strange. Here are some things to try if you haven't done so already.

Clear the app cache.
Go to Settings > Apps > All apps and find the app(s) that increased size. Tap on Storage > Clear Cache.

Check for app updates.
Sometimes updating an app will do the trick.

Uninstall and reinstall the app.
By uninstalling and reinstalling the affected app(s) you may be able to reset the size.

Free up Device Storage
If device storage is getting full, it can affect app performance

Factory reset (last resort)
If nothing seems to be working, you can always do a factory reset. Keep in mind this will erase all data off the phone so make sure your Phone is backed up first.

Thats just a list of some things to try. Hope you can get it figured out. :)

I assume you are using the default launcher?
My icons all seem to have the same size with the default launcher.

GrapheneOSuser74 Is your background white? This might explain why some third party icons look smaller to you. In that case, you cannot see the white round 'icon background'. If you do indeed use a white background, then please test my theory by changing it to a dark one.

nologo I use dark theme and my background is black. The icon background inside of the icon frame is still white and icon looks smaller as before.
