Hi,
New user of GOS, I'm aware GOS removed/adapted a lot of AOSP to keep some privacy from Google, but I have still some questions about it.
I have Google Play Store/Services in a Work profile for all my applications that require FCM notifications.
I presume that Google Play Services application have a websocket connection or similar to check new notifications, and then wake up the concerned app.
So Google have my IP address and can track me and my approximate geographic position.
I suppose I need to force a VPN to all this work profile, so only this geographic location will be visible from Google.
1) Is it enough to being tracked from Google ?
2) I also have the eSIM support toggle enabled, but if I understood correctly Google is used only when we add a new eSIM card, so while I don't change anything of this configuration I'm not tracked from Google ?
3) On my owner profile, Google Play Store/Service are not installed, and it's almost non-GSF applications ( F-Droid basic to copy sources links, and installed through Obtainium ). Some apps includes GSF but works fine without it ( ex: Spotify ). Do you think Google can track me while I'm using this kind of application ? ( in this case, I'll move them in the Work profile with the VPN )
Regards
