Since the most recent update (today is 12/11/2022), after some' number of times of locking my phone via the power button (no specific number nor a specific amount of time), the screen wont turn back on and thus preventing me from unlocking my phone or using it until a hard reboot (Power + vol up) is executed. I notice the phone seems responsive to button presses still (ie if I hold the power button down to popup the shutdown/reboot/emergency/etc.. functions) i feel the normal vibrate that I do when holding the button down when the screen is on. So it doesnt seem to be an OS crash per se, but maybe something with the display driver?

I searched the forums and couldnt find a similar issue that stood out. My phone is an unlocked pixel 6 pro with build TQ1A.221205.011.2022120700

Not sure if it's relevant, but the closest frequency I can nail down is at least having to force reboot my phone once per day, but up to force rebooting it twice per day.

The only related issue that I know about with the latest stable update is the screen brightness will automatically go to its lowest setting in some cases when switching users. You didn't mention switching users, so I wonder if they're related?

The latest release has a fix for the brightness issue and some kernel updates. Maybe your issue will be fixed by the next update? Looks like there was an issue with building the update, so it might take a day or two for the update to reach stable.
